Our backflow incense cones are made to create that mesmerising waterfall effect, with the scented smoke flowing down through your burner instead of up. Each pack holds about 12 hand-rolled cones (24 in our larger packs), and every one is vegan and cruelty-free, from just £3 a pack.
Choose from over 25 backflow incense cone scents that smell good in any room. There's dragon's blood, frankincense and myrrh, lavender, sandalwood, Californian white sage, rose, jasmine tea and apple and cinnamon. There are also mood blends like Relaxing, Meditation and Anti Stress, plus fun scents like Wizard's Spell, Witch's Curse and Unicorn's Grace.
What Are Backflow Incense Cones?
Unlike regular incense cones, backflow cones have a small hollow channel running up through the centre. As the cone burns, the cooler smoke is drawn down through this channel and out of the base. When the cone sits on a backflow incense burner or cone holder, the smoke cascades over the burner like mist or water. Regular cones release smoke upwards, so they won't create the waterfall effect.
How to Use and Light Backflow Incense Cones
Hold the tip of the cone to a flame until it catches, let it burn for a few seconds, then gently blow it out so it glows and smokes. Place the cone over the hole on top of your burner and watch the smoke flow down. For the best backflow effect, use it somewhere still, away from fans, open windows and draughts. Always burn incense on a heat-safe surface in a well-ventilated room, keep it away from children and pets, and never leave it unattended.

What’s the difference between backflow incense cones and normal incense cones?
Backflow cones have a hollow channel through the middle, so the smoke flows downwards over a backflow burner like a waterfall. Normal incense cones burn from the tip and the smoke rises.
