Early Origins Candles have been used as a source of light and to illuminate celebrations for more than 5,000 years, yet little is known about their origin. The earliest use of candles is often attributed to the Ancient Egyptians, who made rushlights or torches by soaking the pithy core of reeds in melted animal fat. Our First Retail Space!

Phoenix Emporium Salisbury! Since we started Hampshire Candles back in April, we have always been excited to get out to craft fayres and events and show off our wares to everyone. Sadly due to the lockdown and COVID-19, we have not been able to do that and with a lot of events canceled for the rest of the year, we decided to look into the retail options to us. Junes New Scents!

New Scents In June! We are pleased to announce the new fragrances that we launched in June. All have so far proved to be very popular and are available in the products we sell. Wax melts, candles, reed diffusers, and car diffusers.  My personal favourite this month is Thai Lime and mango which I currently have in the car diffuser and also a reed diffuser in the bathroom and I think it smells amazing. How we started Hampshire Candles

Hampshire Candles Me (Tom) and my partner Paul have always loved home fragrance products and the love of making them at home.  We have always loved making reed diffusers, scented candles and wax melts at home and often got a lot of comments about them saying how nice they were and such strong scents.
